Professional Background | Scott has been a leading property consultant over the last ten years in the Real Estate Industry. Scott has consistently been a high achiever and has continually been recognised as a top sales professional. He has received numerous awards during this period for the number of properties sold together with the overall best gross professional fees written. As a part of his Real Estate professional development he has undertaken a Masters Training Program with a mainland based firm and is an accredited Auctioneer. Prior to real estate Scott was the General Manager of an aquaculture company, had his own business in the Eastland's Shopping Centre complex, was well known when he introduced mobile "spit roasts" to Tasmania and has worked in the banking industry. However Scott's real passion is real estate and as he says "there is no better feeling than facilitating a successful property sale where both the Vendor and Purchaser are happy and walk away with big smiles." Real Estate is all about people and Scott loves the fact that he has made many new friends over the past ten years, through his work in the Real Estate Industry.
Approach to Real Estate | Scott's approach to real estate is simple; he works together with his clients to ensure he achieves the best possible outcome for his client's most valuable asset. At all times Scott undertakes to keep clients fully informed during the sales process and will attempt to exceed client's expectations. Family |Scott is married to Colleen who is a Special Education Advisor and has three children: - Bianca, Jacob and Adele, all who have now achieved the great Australian dream of owning their own homes. Bianca has worked in property rentals and Adele has a current property consultant's licence. Jacob is the odd one out but is a highly skilled mechanical engineer and two years ago built his father's pride and joy - a 7.5 metre aluminium pleasure craft - "Hunter".
Interests | Scott loves the sea and anything to do with it or anything near to it. Fishing is a favourite pastime and fish is a major part of the family diet. Game fishing, Cray fishing both with pots and diving, together with bottom fishing are leisure activities enjoyed by Scott and his family. A BBQ and relaxing beside a campfire are pursuits enjoyed at the family's East Coast retreat that is situated in Little Swanport. Scott also has a keen interest in photography, particularly sea-scapes and hopes to further develop skills in this area.
Other Interests | Scott has been a great supporter of Variety the Children's Charity and also the Little Footprints Foundation. Scott has experienced first hand the fantastic work the neo natal intensive care unit, at the Royal Hobart Hospital undertakes and has great admiration for those many people who work tirelessly to assist the special and disadvantaged children in Tasmania.
