NORTHERN SUBURBS
Professional Background | Jason began his working career during high school as a towel boy for the Cascade Tassie Devils basketball team - wiping Steve Carfino's sweat from the Kingston basketball stadium floor. Jason's first paying job was at the first McDonald's store (Moonah) opening in Tasmania while attending Rosny College. In 1994 he made the Tasmanian state team for fries.
After graduating from grade 12, Jason's first fulltime job was a sales consultant at Routleys menswear, which provided some very good foundations for a successful career in the retail industry. At Les Lees Hobart (owned by John Radonic) Jason was the Store Manager and also took on more responsibility by helping John buy stock for 12 stores. This is when Jason sold suits to the famous Hank Petrusma!
While managing Socrates (Australian Geographic) at Eastlands in 2006 Jason won the store of the year. As the best performing store out of 80 stores nationally, Jason won a trip to Antarctica which he enjoyed with his girlfriend; a great reward for his efforts. Recently Jason managed the Hobart City Red Herring surf store.
Approach to Real Estate | Jason is a friendly and passionate person which comes across in everything he does. He strives for success and does not give up. He enjoys meeting new people and he believes in having fun in whatever he is doing. Having bought and sold personal property and managing large retail operations, Jason believes in urgency, ethics and education as essential tools for being successful in business. Jason is very excited about the opportunities of listing and selling property to many of his customers that he has got to know well through his time in the retail industry.
Why Real Estate? | We live in Tasmania with the most beautiful landscape, scenery and buildings in the world! Jason is now thrilled to be able to share with others the opportunities this beautiful city offers through the property market.
Family | Andrikonis is Lithuanian and Jason never forgets his grass roots and how tough his grandparents had it when they were forced to leave their homes in Lithuania during World War 2 and start a new life in Tasmania. He has a small family but loves them very much. Jason also recently became engaged to a beautiful North-West girl.
Hobbies & Interests | Jason loves travelling. Egypt, Greece, Turkey and Lithuania are a snap shot of the many countries he has visited recently. He loves sports and is a very passionate Hawthorn supporter. He also supports the Tassie Tigers cricket team and tries to get to every home game. He plays basketball for the Grenadiers District club but grew up playing for the Perkunas club started by his Uncle, Tony Andrikonis.
Associates | Jason works together with a team of enthusiastic and professional consultants at the Glenorchy office.
