Professional Background | After working for 10 years in finance Hank commenced his Real Estate career in 1971,where he initially serving an "apprenticeship" with LJ Hooker before starting his own business Hank Petrusma Real Estate in April 1974. Hank is a past president of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania, representing Tasmania at the National Association of Realtors Conferences in America in 1979, 1981, 1992, 1997, 2005 and 2007 the latter as a keynote speaker in Las Vegas.
Hank is also a fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia, Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and member of the National Speakers Association. He is also an accredited trainer and speaker, across a number of different industries and has trained and motivated many people throughout Australia, New Zealand and USA.
Sometimes called Tasmania's "Mr. Real Estate" Hank's hundreds of evaluations consistently see him with over 90% approval. Hank is also active in the field assisting sellers and buyers, who appreciate his enthusiasm, energy and experience.

Family | Hank is married to Gail and they have five children and 14 grandchildren between them.
Hobbies & Interests | Hank has a passion for music and musicals and has attended many of the world's best over many years. He has also been instrumental in putting together the Petrusma Property Annual Client Appreciation Nights for the past ten years. He loves sport, attends football, cricket and tennis matches and is also involved with the Hobart Chargers Basketball Team mentoring the players. He enjoys having quite relaxing dinners and watching good movies.
Community Involvement | Hank has always had an active life with many involvements involving charitable, church, sporting and other organisations. Hank has a strong philosophy of contributing back in to the community and was given the great honour of being a recipient of the 2002 Tasmania Day Community Service Award. He has conducted numerous charity auctions for organisations such as Variety, Make a Wish Foundation, Save the Children Fund, Ronald McDonald House, the Cancer Support and Information service, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Compassion Australia, North Hobart Football Club, Clarence Football Club. He has also served organisations such as the Tasmanian Deaf Society and Australian Rosny Childrens Choir. Hank is currently Chairman of Common Ground Tasmania committed to assisting homeless people.
